Cheapest Denver Tee Times
Denver golf doesn't have to be expensive. Between the city's municipal courses and a handful of great-value suburban tracks, you can play 18 for well under the price of a resort round — if you know where and when to book. Here's how to find the cheapest Denver tee times without sacrificing a good course.
01 When to book for the lowest rates
- Play twilight. Most Denver courses drop to twilight pricing in the late afternoon — often 30–50% off the morning rate for the same holes.
- Go midweek. Monday–Thursday rates are almost always lower than weekend rates, and the tee sheet is wide open.
- Target shoulder season. Early spring and late fall bring the best deals, and Denver's climate means plenty of playable days on both ends of the season.
- Walk instead of ride. Skipping the cart shaves a chunk off the total, and many munis are very walkable.
- Play nine. A quick nine after work is the cheapest way to get your fix.
02 Best-value Denver public courses
- Harvard Gulch Golf Course — a short par-3 in Denver and one of the cheapest ways to play in the city.
- Overland Park & City Park (Denver) — classic municipals with wallet-friendly resident and twilight rates.
- Aurora Hills & Springhill (Aurora) — dependable, low-cost munis; Springhill's nine is great for beginners.
- CommonGround (Aurora) — a lot of course for the money, plus an affordable par-3.
- Buffalo Run (Commerce City) — a championship-length layout that still prices like a muni.
